THE GLORY (KOREAN SERIES)

This is a Netflix short series K-drama mostly based on Revenge. One thing I like about this series is that it showcases how cruel bullying can be in most South Korean Schools. How school bullying has been a thing in their schools, other movies just tell little stories about this bullying but this series goes in-depth and sheds light on trauma. This series is about a lady that was bullied through middle school, in a very brutal way. The bullying was too much she has to drop out of school. She made a vow to get payback on her bullies, so she made her whole life plans to achieve this, imagine living your life based on revenge. For me this series was a good watch because she mapped out her revenge plans so well and I liked how she was so strong and fearless in carrying out her plans, she made sure the revenge was all she cared about. I really do not like revenge stories like that, of course, we all know vengeance is not for us to carry out but I am happy she had her revenge because I am so against bullying and the fact that she went through hell in the hands of her tormentors and funny enough when they grow older they became successful, living their lives like she didn’t exist and they were also bullies even as grownups. This series has great lessons to learn from it. It was a good watch.
